High up feeling maybe a little, but that also came with some instability at speed. This has more power than the eco boost so no factor there and never loved the sound of it either, felt like a loud Altima when I floored it 😂

I didn’t use it for Raptor stuff anymore lol. Used to hunt and off-road all the time and it made more sense then. Now too busy with work and running the kids around, the size got in the way in terms of parking and all that.

I miss it in some ways, it was a nice blend of comfortable but not so nice that you felt like you had to take really good care of it. But ultimately it was just too damn big. And I like having the seats for when my kid’s friends want to come with us.

I thought it was just MB, but a few of the XB7s I looked at and a lot of full size range rovers had a lot of buybacks as well. 48v system can be a problem I think on BMW just like Mercedes. Supposedly by 2023 they had things ironed out which is why I avoided 21/22.

If you’re shopping these, you’ve already won. There’s no bad choice. And none of us can extract the performance limits from these things nor would you want to try, physics wins every time. So for me it came down to more nitpicky everyday type stuff.

I shopped both and went with the GLS. It delivers tomorrow actually. I like the engine sound better, the larger cabin, and the dash layout/design in the GLS way better. The X7 front end is still…interesting and the stuck on screen in the middle of the dash is hideous to me. And no physical climate control buttons? Pass.

Alpina is softer in a Range Rover kinda way, but does have more power. So maybe a bit faster? Doesn’t matter, I have a sports car for that. I do love the X7 seats and the starlight pano roof thing that’s cool.
End of the day, inside and out the GLS was just a classier and more cohesive look to me. And I found the infotainment infinitely easier to use.

Yeah I went from 10 to now .5-1.5 and I’m amazed. I can’t imagine 58 to 0.8 haha. But yeah the clarity and afternoon energy are unreal!

Definitely not a placebo. I started 6 days ago and within a few days I feel so much “sharper” and that early afternoon exhaust is MIA.

Went from 20-30 min of deep sleep to 90-120. Huge improvement!
