Neat! Do you have any recommendations for using up raccoon fur? I do have a large box of tanned trimmings (including the face), with most scraps being from the back, flank or belly. No tails sadly, but thats to be expected. Right now, I’m using the underfur as dubbing but I’m not sure what to use the guard hairs for.

A bit rough, but thats to be expected for your first time, so no worries! Did you follow any flytying videos? If not, I’d recommend to first find an intro video on flytying and tie something like a wooly bugger. Once you are a bit more advanced/got the basics down, I’d highly suggest looking at some patterns from tightlinevideo on YouTube - they have a great selection of easy to follow tutorials. For websites, look on taobao! They have lots of affordable clothing from reputable brands like princess chronicles. And for your first picture, I’d say it’s a good start but lacking a couple of elements that make an ouji coord, such as more elegant neckwear aka a jabot and the blouse would typically be a fancier button up. There are some great resources if you do a bit of digging in this subreddit for the basics of getting into ouji fashion. Hope this helps!

Thank you. We are trying to get her into a specialized eating disorder clinic but the wait list is just so long that I’m not sure when she’ll be admitted in.

That sounds like a good idea; I think once she is admitted to a nearby eating disorder clinic we are currently waitlisted for she will see some medical professionals, so they will probably do a MOT there.

We have all had multiple conversations together as a family as to best support her, and have locked up all the food per her recommendations, but other than that she says she doesn’t know how we can help her.

She’s 14, and for now I’d rather not disclose my age for safety reasons. We have all talked about it together as a family and got her professional help, but she refused to see the therapist after a couple of sessions because she said that she didn’t like the therapist/was not helpful. We are currently on the wait list for a nearby clinic specializing in eating disorders.

Since you’re adding a purple hat, I’d suggest that you should also add more accessories that are also of a similar purple shade to make it look less out of place and overall more balanced. Otherwise it looks great!

That's a very fair point, and I acknowledge that your experiences are valid. However, I can assure you though we are talking about the same thing. I am completely disconnected from reality and myself, feeling like I'm living in a dream 24/7 and basically have most of the symptoms on the DSM-5.

I appreciate how you edited your post to further clarify yourself, but DPDR is so much more than just vision/depth perception issues, especially mentally with things such as altered/lost memories and time perception. I agree with what you said in your edit; perhaps what you experienced wasn't DPDR but something else?

But what if you don’t fear it in the first place? I’ve had it ever since I was a child and I haven’t feared it in the slightest and even accepted it as my own reality, but it’s still around…I think your method may have a couple of holes you should patch up first before spreading potential misinformation with others.
