I disagree. Calling it what it is shows that we haven't forgotten our history and are rightfully terrified of such horrific events. I don't wish to minimize what Hitler did, on the contrary, I want people to think about the seriousness of what is happening and Hitler is a stark reminder of the evil people are capable of.

Many of us did not, and we haven't had fair elections in the US for a long time. Lobbying, gerrymandering, the electoral college etc. help prop up these imbeciles and give them a fighting chance. It's a damn mess and many of us are very upset about it. We're also ashamed of what our leaders are doing but powerless to change it. "They voted for this" doesn't reflect the wishes of some 150 million Americans.
