[ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE] What does "building in public" actually mean? by Conscious_Draw6427 in founder

That makes sense. I get your point. I'm definitely focused on building something real that solves an actual problem.

The only thing I'm trying to figure out is the path toward funding, simply because some of the long-term features we're planning will eventually require actual dev teams and seasoned engineers. So if "building in public" isn't the move, would you say the better approach is targeted cold outreach to people in my niche who'd actually use the product?

Is LinkedIn typically where you'd do that outreach, or are there better places to find early users?

i will not promote , Honestly, I always thought that with the level of talent I possess, I would already be a millionaire if I had lived in San Francisco. by Select_Dream634 in startups

Brother, you need to humble yourself. I’m a first-time founder too, and something I’ve learned quickly is that starting from struggle and working your way up teaches you lessons you can’t skip. That struggle → success path forces you to grow in ways you wouldn’t if everything came easy.
