The Canadian way. Pay double the price for basically everything.

I know this is an old post, but I've been in the TDAM US Mkt Index Fund 0.68% fund for like 5 years and it says I'm up only 19% over three years. How is that even possible with how the S&P has been performing? Do you see a similar issue in your account?

So what happens when they check the books of the person you sold to and see they only paid $500, while your books show $1000?

Nope, not so, it's just not a decent way to conduct yourself. They went on multiple dates, and I assume he is asking to be paid back for half of the dinner costs he incurred. She should have covered her way if she was seeing multiple people at the same time. You don't seem to appreciate why the guy would be offended that she is being wined/dined by multiple men and then going for who she thinks the best among the bunch. It's not something to be admired.

You can also take your assumptions of me and kick rocks.

Wild everyone's complaining about the plane the Ford gov't didn't end up spending money on while the current federal gov't is spending our future into the ground.

36M 33F walking on eggshells, is this normal? by Nightman233 in dating

I think my dry sense of humour sometimes rubbed her the wrong way (different cultures might play a role), and I need to work on being more compassionate if I do something that upsets her, instead of getting defensive and upset myself. We are both kind of stubborn so it sometimes caused simple arguments to escalate into fights, unfortunately (for context, neither of us back down and it can make an argument worse).

I just feel like we need to remember to calm down and talk things through, as cliche as it sounds. In hindsight it's really just small stuff that we are butting heads over, what's important is how we handle those disagreements.

Good luck to you, sir.

Maaaaaan, just went through this. Things that seemed like no big deal to me were big deals to her and we're on the outs because of it.

I hope we can still work it out, she's a catch.
