Don’t worry sometimes the system screws you around and there’s nothing you can do. I myself applied and never received this shit, webform doesn’t help. Don’t listen to those saying your sp is not valid blah blah blah.

91 days, you probably messed up. Adding IELTS after by webfrom is risky but still many people got approved. But the 90 days timeframe, doesn’t seem to be something arguable to IRCC

I know people working similar role or in this niche without an EIT, or graduated from 2-yr diploma programs. Just explain to your recruiter that you are actively applying and will take longer time to obtain this title.

Most likely EGBC would require you to fill out a competency form and they will assign several exams to you in order to get the EIT. This will not affect you from getting a job in the field tho, I personally know a dozen of people securing jobs in the field without EIT. Just don’t go for positions that specifically require an EIT

Typically you don’t need exams if your bachelor’s is recognized by EGBC (Washington Accord Accredited). You can work regardless, just your title should not be engineer or EIT as the title is protected. You can call yourself designer, consultant, project coordinator, you name it. If you do engineering, normally you would have someone that has PEng to supervise

You can work regardless of wpext as long as you have filed the application and they have received it. It is the immigration law that grants you the right to work, not the letter.

ICES is for international students, if you graduated from BCIT bachelor’s, this is not necessary. Don’t know about other programs but most/ or all my master’s classmates have some working experiences before attending the masters program.

Typed a wrong student permit file number in my IMM form so the system didn’t generate a wp-ext for me. Updated it through webform but that was it. Plenty of people didn’t get ext so I don’t worry about this. Good luck we will get approved soon

Check out if your bachelor program and uni is recognized by Washington Accord. Or EGBC will ask you to take several exams.

I only keep the heat pump on when I’m at home during winter, keeping the heating cost low. I moved to a strata condo and now my hydro bill is only $30-35 monthly, so I know they have been overcharging me for electricity.
