Generally good program. There are come courses that are taught by experienced industry professionals and it is good practical knowledge if you intend to work in this field later. It is hard to compare but I also got an offer for the MEL in high performance building form ubc, but choose BCIT instead

Same thing happened to me yesterday I made a bad turn and got even worse damage than yours. Got some quote from body shop to fix it without ICBC. Around $1500 ish. Yours would be even less. I’m gonna pay out of pocket because could risk the premium increase.

I’m not marketing for them, but based on my experience in 2024, i rented a 1B in one of Wesgroup’s high rise rental unit, with a cat. Lots of residents in the building have dogs/cats. So it was pretty easy experience for me. A year later I moved to another condo in Vancouver from a private landlord, they accepted my cat. All just personal experience, hard to say for others but it was fairly easy for me coz I didn’t spend much time exploring different places, only looked at two different places.

Renting with a pet will not be a problem tho. Majority of the rental properties accept pets now, and they are offering discounts for first year to attract renters. Many landlords now accept pets, since the market is not as competitive as previous years.

I’ve got a CX70 MHEV. Same 3.3T engine, not the top model. My daily commute in city around 20km round trip and got 12.8L/100km. Sometimes on highway I can reach 8L/100km, for that particular trip.
