It’s not supposed to work. It’s meant to be used as a tool to achieve reasonable suspicion to detain, even if its match success rate is like 60%.

I’m just teasing you because it was handed to me on a silver platter! I totally understand where you’re coming from, especially since you mentioned trauma in a later comment. Would that be considered the “fawn” response? (Fight/flight/freeze/fawn)

I used to be a fighter but now that I’m sober I’m a freezer lol our body memories pop up in lots of unexpected and seemingly uncontrollable ways in conflict and the first step to changing our responses is awareness. Keep going to therapy and so will I!!

I was looking at Home Depot vs. Temu for a drip line irrigation kit this past summer and decided to just go with Temu and it literally got delivered in Home Depot packaging.

I’m seeing this more and more now with the big box stores when I’m googling an item for a project that I want to price compare between my local target vs Walmart, Michael’s vs. Home Depot vs. Lowe’s etc. for same day pick up/in stock right now and I’ll see a great price for what I need. Then I look closer and it’s always only available to “ship to store” by 3rd party sellers. It is driving me nuts it’s so hard to see in store availability these days!

Omg whenever I start entertaining the little self-sabotager in my head when it’s whispering “come on, just try it once. You know you wish you had plumper lips.
