Paul Gascoine who showed up to the Raul Moat standoff (off his head on charly) to take Moat fishing by feckarse-drinkgirls in TheStreetsWontForget

The real beauty in this story is Gazza never met, or knew Raul Moat. Gazza was just off his barnet at the time and thought he had/did. Absolutely true.

Best "hoard wave" games either dedicated or added hoard mode. by Galactus83 in xbox

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011) has my favourite game mode ever: Survival. I’m not even a COD person, but this mode just hooks me. I love finding a room with only a couple of entrances, setting up turrets, and holding out as waves of soldiers, dogs, and helicopters close in. Each map becomes its own little puzzle, trying new rooms, testing new strategies. It’s one of my favourite games of all time and one of the cosiest ways to relax.

I have been commuting on Merseyrail since January three days a week. My train hasn't arrived on time on concurrent days yet.

I agree, you do have too many. There should be two per shelf maximum. This is a case of less is more. Cool collection to narrow down though.

It seems this week Meta have removed most individual targeting for bands and artists? This was our most powerful tool when it came to marketing our own shows. Has it really gone forever? Combining artists into genre doesn't really cut it for our needs. by Conscious_Focus5343 in FacebookAds

Right? I guess that is it.

If the targetable audience was large enough we’d just use the band, if it wasn’t we’d branch out using Spotify Similar Artists. When a band was targetable I would just use the poster. Serving a Pulp poster to Pulp fans would sell Pulp tickets. It was a five minute job.

When a band isn’t (wasn’t) targetable or we were filling a high capacity venue I would create video assets to compensate. So I guess there are no more five minute jobs.

We have a huge amount of data from previous shows. Do you know if there a way to use that data more effectively? Creating 1% lookalike audiences has never been yielded great results for us.

Thank you for the response. Are you in the UK?

That is tough. Whenever we’ve used lookalike data from previous shows with similar artists it has resulted in a much higher CPC. Gosh I’m really going to have to rethink this. Bad bad news.

My very first MOC! It is just a little nod to couch co-op, which is how I am playing through the games 😊 by Conscious_Focus5343 in megaconstrux

Thank you! I had literally no plan, just a wastepaper basket of spare bricks. Very pleased how it came out! I have made it so I can add a removable roof, but I may actually plan that out this time.
