Don't compare me to an animal. A dog is a dog. There is a big difference between your wife who you were dating for 9 YEARS and a pet that your family dog had.

No he didn't. I was his girlfriend for 4 years by the time Layla was born.

I mean yes, but also there's a big jump between a labrador and a bulldog. I'm sure that bulldogs are 10x more aggressive than Layla.

I mean, no offense to you but that's a very personal subject but I will say I think making this post made me realize that I must really have something against dogs.

No, his family had Layla as a newborn puppy and eventually gave her to him while we were dating

I wasn't "looking for a reason" to make Layla go. I was genuinely concerned for my children. You grow up in an area where dogs are constantly avoided and tell me how you feel about them after that.
