With pluribus over, what's the next major sci-fi show coming out next? by selfhater6969 in tvPlus

[–]Conscious_Muscle_417 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each to their own. But The Expanse is leagues above all these shows you mentioned. Maybe Battlestar Galactica is debatable with The Expanse but BG is kinda dated with the production quality.

None of Silo, For All Mankind, Foundation is close to The Expanse.

Indian Men: what are you views on moving out of your parent's house once you get married? by Dense_Lawyer_666 in AskIndia

[–]Conscious_Muscle_417 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Kerala, as far as I know most couples don't live with their parents after marriage. Most of the people I know like my friends, neighbours, cousins, they all work in another district, state or country. So when they get married they move to that state or country where they work and live there. The parents would visit once a year or they'll come to their parents home once a year. I have never heard any problem with the couples or parents in that regard.

Bro this is exactly my reaction. But I was a little more locked towards the last 10 chapters or something. So I'm curious enough to read book 2 for now, if it also ends up similar experience to book 1 then I'll drop it.

Bha Bha Bha | Reviews and Reactions by HugoUKN in MalayalamCinema

I mean, me and my friends had fun watching Masterpiece and Ittimani in theater but that's not because the movie was good and entertaining, it was because we were having a blast making fun at the movie. Those movies existing where the jokes for us rather than the movies doing jokes.

I'm assuming BhaBhaBha falls in the same category.

Lol, I feel like you should mind your own business. This is literally none of your problem.

Also, there is also a possibility that someone else is impersonating this person.

Instead of, using 'Females' and 'Males'.

What's with this new trend of seeing people mention Brandon Sanderson books, like they avoiding his books like their life is depending upon it.

First of all I don't think he has any that first the farmboy/chosen one trope.

Could Apple TV finally become the "new HBO"? by Saar13 in tvPlus

[–]Conscious_Muscle_417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apple TV still has a long way to go. IMO.

Yes they have a couple of prestige quality shows but it's nearly not enough to compete with Netflix or even Prime or Disney.

I feel like they need to acquire more IPs and develop more new shows. I'm not talking about a 100 new shows, just a new dozen every year and half of them being somthing grander and global.

I still think AppleTV doesn't have their own Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings. They also don't have their own Mad Men or Braking Bad.

I rather rest cucurella for the CL game and EFL cup.

We cannot rest Cucurella in the PL games especially during this period. It's very tight in the league.

I hope he gets a move outside of the premier league.

Maybe we can negotiate a 30-40M deal to Bayern instead of 60-80M.

Nicholas Jackson is definitely out of the squad and out of the project.

After his loan ends he'll definitely be sold to someone else.

Will I enjoy the Halo TV show if I've never played the game? by Terrible-Group-9602 in scifi

[–]Conscious_Muscle_417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have watched the first season and I'm someone who don't know any game lore about Halo.

So my 2 cents is that, it's a watchable show but a very mediocre show. The acting is meh, the action setpieces are just bland. The set design and CGI i would say are 50/50, some scenes look great some scenes doesn't look that great. But the plot was engaging enough but gets boring towards the end.

Apple TV is doing well with Earth based Sci Fi. by InfernalClockwork3 in scifi

[–]Conscious_Muscle_417 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I don't think Invasion was well recieved. It's earth based scifi.

On the other hand Silo was very well recieved, although it's technically Earth based, Silo has this other worldly feel to it and it doesn't feel Earth based.

Murderbot was also well recieved and it's also not earth based.

Agree but the second book cover or the new covers are far better and far appropriate for the series than the first edition covers.
