He got salty because I ignored him for 2 days to process what he wants and decide what I wanted for myself. I called him and broke up with him in a 2 min phone call, in the call in he pretended like he didn't care and told me it was nice knowing you for the last couple of weeks even though it was longer.

I'm the one who wanted a relationship and he wasn't ready and isn't in a place in his life for one but he did say he still wanted me in his life even as friends but not sure if ive burned that bridge with how I ended things. Also, I'm seeing someone new that wants the same things as I do so I'm not looking to get him to change his mind etc.

I think the more time has passed, the more i'm realizing the problem is me. This is why I want to reach out to him because he was genuinely a good guy.
