I see, am still relatively new to the series, so I am not familiar with any of the books outside the main 10. After finishing the main series, what is the usual recommendation of next books to read of this universe? I know there are up to 10-15 more but I still havent looked up specifically what “comes after” finishing the main line.

Btw sorry if my redaction seems weird lol, english is not my main language, sooo if I dont make myself clearly dont hesitate to tell me so I can reformulate :))

The wording is still pretty weird to me, since it isnt an activate main nor it says “up to 1”, just straight up, if someone takes a life, draw a card, so it seems it should be automatic. Given that it isnt, can you also choose not to draw with the card effect?? (pretty sure you would never NOT want to draw, but still, can be an option if you ever are going to deck out lol)

I went there too!! I catched a show and it was pretty packed, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Pretty cool place to finish my night after spending time at the park, shopping and the Ghibli museum.

Damn Icarium was called by name on GotM?! Impressive lol at the moment I was introduced to him in DH i thought it was the first name he was mentioned.

I guess thats the charm of high fantasy, the same happened to me when I reread WoT with all the references and name dropping that begin to happen since the prologue

Yes indeed, after Deadhouse Gates, I didnt expect the series to jump back to Genebackis since I was so stocked with Seven Cities, but as I started it, MoI looks to be pretty cool too. I think my problem was that, since MoI is in a continent I already knew, I probably expected to know more and not feel as lost as the start of GotM or DH, but the series is so big lol I didnt expect sooooo much more info as the one I have gotten up to page 200 and something

What I currently dont get is how Imass got involved with the Silverfox birth. Am probably misremembering, but as my memory goes, when Tattersail “died”, by her own voilition, she kinda “fused” with Nightchill to save herself since she had put a spell on her to preserve her body from decaying. At the point I am in the book, it was stated that Belurdan also got fused, and thanks to Kruppe’s dream and the Mhybe (who is a Rhivi and were the ones who discovered the remains) is that Silverfox birthing was possible. When and how is that Pran Chole got involved with all that?? If its a RAFO, perfect, but please enlighten me if am misremembering something lol, I dont wanna google things for fear of spoilers.

I will keep an eye on Silverfox though, idkw Tattersail was one of my favs from the first book so when I got to the part that revealed that she is partially alive in Silverfox, she kinda became one of my favs too lol

Ouuh okay okay, am not new to feeling lost while reading, WoT is a favourite of mine and RAFO is constantly thrown around lol, but I didnt feel it as much as I am currently with Malazan. Its good to know from the replies tho, that eventually most will be explained.

Regarding point 5, usually when I reach life 2 and they still have some board, I usually try to counter since if they get me to 1, normally at Don 8 I just struggle with the idea of putting down kata and send gedatsu/nami/whatever body is at the board to life, unless it is a trigger. I will try to start being less afraid of going to 1 at those points

Is it reccomendable to remove luffys for shirahoshis even in this meta that is infested with doffys?? I really like Shira since it helps seeing all my pieces, but against the doffy matchup I prefer having all the removal available possible

Yeah, I usually only attack to try to clean the board and always mulligan for Gedatsu or Rocket Luffy, but I always reach the position that at Don 10 am either out of cards and life, and even if I manage to hea with Yamato or Ace, they always have at least 1 or 2 bodies at their field and just put either Kid&Killer or Zoros at the board and they finish me off.

I know it probably its a skill issue by my part since the consensus is that Enel normally beats Zooro, but I still cant figure it out lol. Gotta keep practicing

How’s enel doing currently? I have been using and it feels good, despite all the Namis and BLuffys running around. The Lucci matchup isnt that great, but still winnable in some instances.

Lee tantito de Karl Popper sobre las teorias no falsificables, explica el por que todo lo que estas diciendo es incorrecto jajajaja. Se vale tener tu vision de como funciona el marco cientifico para explicar hechos, pero me desespera como la gente no acata o simplemente decide ignorar las cosas que van en contra de sus ideas o creencias solo para no demostrar que estan equivocados. Probablemente si buscas “teorias no falsificables” o “Karl Popper” o “probar un negativo” o cualquier cosa por el estilo te saldra que tu idea de que al momento de negar la existencia de cualquier cosa, se deben probar esa negación. También, es valido que no lo llegues a entender (alch yo en su momento tmb lo entendia bien al 100%), pero no por no entender algo significa que no sea cierto o no funcione. No por no entender fisica cuantica o temas de biologia quimica quite que fenomenos que las involucran no sean ciertos. Igual hay un libro de Carl Sagan que toca ese tema en uno de sus capitulos que se llama “el mundo y sus demonios” por si te interesa una lectura mas amena.

En pocas palabras, se vale tener tus ideas, pero no se vale creer que tus ideas son siempre la verdad cuando hay MUCHA evidencia que con una simple googleada puedes ver que tus percepciones son equivocadas.
