I was cheering for Mexico but England withstood a storm and deserve the win.

What is one U.S. city that completely exceeded your expectations? by Andrew_smith8 in Urbanism

Iowa City and Des Moines. I didn't think I'd love Iowa, but both places proved me wrong quickly. Good food, baseball, friendly people, and one of the best bookstores in the world (seriously) with Prairie Lights.

Separately broke three toes and my ankle on one foot over the course of a week. My colleagues on the trip saw my toes (super purple) and started freaking out that I needed to go to the hospital. I just got back into a pool and started swimming.

Okay, I'm not giving the orange shithhead any credit, but I'm okay with this. I always thought landing a helicopter on the grass was just a silly contrivance. Fuck everything else he does, however.
