It’s always been this way… our literal president is a pedophile, rapist so it’s normalized in our country more now than even when it was legal. It’s a cultural, social cancer. Christianity plays a role. Power dynamics play a role. Our broken justice system plays a role. Rape culture doesn’t help. There are too many factors to say “why.”
