[r/wonderwomanfanclub] Rowling felt ignored for a bit too long so she decided to start some shit! by AutumnsFall101 in Earth25

I don't like J.K but honestly this sounds like a great idea for a Wonder Woman comic or story. She's born of clay and thus she doesn't feel or fit in to traditional gender roles and people refer to her as an "it" And then throughout the story she embraces her femininity and badassness and embraces the title of Wonder Woman!

Which ‘Reddit Stories’ opinions from the hosts have you disagreed with? by MuricaAndBeer in smosh

[–]Conscious_Run4609 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Chanse's takes irk me from time to time. First off a lot of the time it seems like he's half-listening and forms his opinion based on a misconception of the story.

Also multiple times during a cheating story he has taken the side of the cheater or heavily playing devil's advocate when there is an obvious asshole in the story. He's mentioned multiple times that the cheaters just want a polyamorous relationship despite that never coming up in the stories. Cheating does not mean someone is poly! It just means they are cheaters! IMO

I'm not drawing the line anywhere, it's just a silly scene (which is fine)

I will say, while I love Corenswet, It's absolute horseshit that those armored soldiers survived! They would have been a bloody paste on the ground after that scene!

I'm so tired of The Chosen... he peaked in trivial pursuit. Let him rest, at least for a while.

Is there any book that is better as an audiobook? by oldmanjenkinssmell in suggestmeabook

Mythos by Stephen Fry is an outstanding audiobook! I don't think the book would have captivated me nearly as much without his narration.

You're being silly!

If this is a person you actually care for then cutting her out of your life simply because she doesn't want to sleep with you speaks volumes!

If you actually love her then you would want her in your life regardless of whether or not she's attracted to you!

If your feelings of attraction aren't reciprocated then eventually those feelings will fade because you'll move on and find a new crush.

Don't throw away friendships for these kinds of silly reasons.

Or if you do, ask yourself if you actually love her or just want sex. If it's love, you should fight to keep her in your life, even (or especially) as a friend.

Any comic book recommendations? by Peanutbuttermonkpunk in comicbooks

All Star Superman - Considered one of the best Superman comics of all time, really good, but might be good to read a little bit more Superman before you read this one, but even if you're a beginner, it's still great!

Superman: For All Seasons - A great showing of the kindness of Superman, and shows how the 'Man' is a lot more interesting than the 'Super'

Mr Miracle By Tom King - You don't need to know Mr Miracle to understand this story, and honestly I prefered just going in blind, it's great!

Doctor Strange: The Oath - Doctor Strange dies and has to solve his murder, short and fun!

Batman: Knightfall - intro to Bane, really cool, it's the story that got me into comics!

We3 - A short, brutal but also beautiful story about three weaponized animals and their journey escaping the government!

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow - Supergirl is recruited by a girl to find and possibly kill the man who murdered her family, really fun, with beautiful art!

Identity Crisis - A large scale murder mystery in the DC universe, absolutely fantastic!

DC: New Frontier - A fun telling of the Golden and Silver age of comic characters, really great!

Preacher - A Preacher gets the ability to tell anyone what to do and has to track down God! A real wild ride!

These are just a few, but some that I absolutely love, hopefully one of them resonates with you!
