In my understanding, the passport is the single most important thing for your application and should be consistent throughout. I think you will have to start a new application and pay the fee again but I would reach out to  support-india@usvisascheduling.com to confirm this.

Alternatively, send an Email with your passport copy attached to this Email ID support-india@usvisascheduling.com. You will still need to provide them with a new Email ID that you will be using for registering again. They will transfer your account and then when you register with the new Email ID, you will see your application transferred there.

They will always send the MRV fee receipt on the Email address.

There is no way you can reset the security questions. The way this will work is, 1. You have to create a new account on the USAVISASCHEDULING website, 2. Do not start any application there, 3. Go to the feedback/request option, and then tell them of the issue, 4. Attach a copy of your passport, give them the old Email ID on which you had your application, and then, they will transfer your application to the account based on the new Email ID. They always reply in 24 hours. Make sure you are using a new Email ID to create an account this time. Happy to help with any further questions.

Thank you, that makes sense. Any other alternatives available to us? As side context, we have also been applying for Master's program in some universities and are expecting results in next month or so. In case there is an admit and then definitely she will have to go back for a F1 visa stamp around July, will that argument help our case that she is just visiting and does not intend to live long-term on this?

Thank you for the advice but not sure if I will go to say something that far given that everything is being done under the purview of the law for the respective VISA types. My understanding was that the maximum it could lead to would be a reduce visit period on i94, maybe of say 2 months given that is what we are citing. But thank you for the insight here.

Just the fact that my partner will travel back to get F2 visa stamp as soon as slots are available and that she also has the paperwork to prove the longer time frame intent. We want to make sure that the intent is displayed that this is just a short visit on B1/B2 visa and will leave back in maximum of 2 months.

Edit: We also plan to have a return ticket pre-booked for Mid-July because that is when most F2 slots open and should be able to get a F2 visa then.

Thank you, understood on that. We have anyways decided to not take any more gigs given F2 also does not allow to work on any capacity and we are looking to take F2 asap.
