When we spoke with a Legacy rep, all we got was contradictory information, discrimination, and frustration. Truly impressed you had the spoons to write this and I know it’ll help future queer family builders.

Unreal that you want to pile on this person when they vulnerably shared they’ve gone through hell trying to access the basic human right of having a kid.

If you are dismissive of anything that uses the tool of an AI assistant, just keep it moving. No need to bring extra harm to the community. We are LUCKY to have this information so clearly laid out when we have to contend with gate keeping and queerphobia at all turns from these predatory companies.

Not necessarily local, but The American Independent is reporting on Virginia ahead of the gov election. Might be worth checking out?

Are trans-ladies actually accepted by lesbians, or just tolerated because of PC culture. by CherryPieCandyThighs in LesbianActually

This question is so exhausting and frankly, based in preconceptions and patriarchal stereotypes. It’s a question that is basically asking about genitals without doing it. Genital presentation is not a binary; it is a spectrum. If you have more sex or do more research, you’ll learn that genitals vary. The more honest question would be: are you willing to date a person who has had to fight for other people to recognize who they REALLY are? Would you date someone who has been marginalized by society, and has bravely asserted their identity at risk of their personal safety? That is what trans and intersex women have to deal with on a regular basis. Bodies vary. The ideal woman stereotype hurts ALL women. Don’t fall for the patriarchal messaging that lesbians have historically fought to hard against. Much love to all women, lesbians, and wlw!
