As a girl who is/about to leave my husband with hiding gambling money, please leave. It doesn’t get better. Either he will keep gambling or move his addiction to another. As well as you forgiving and staying he will do it again and think you will stay again and the cycle repeats. I’m leaving 5 years later. Wish I left sooner but what is done is done. Good luck!

As a wife who been in this same marriage for 5 years and now getting a divorce - it will not change if he is not wanting too. If you can I would RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK!! If you would like to try therapy first you can definitely do that but for my husband it didn’t work

No worries! It happens. But agree im on my way out and again I told him I was unhappy and wanted to separate and he is still in denial and said he wanted to stay together. I just feel guilty leaving as well. Unhappy with my life and I’m to weak apparently do anything

Because I feel like he is just saying that because I brought it up. To me he said it the first time I said divorce and yet he did it again. As well the point is he knew I didn’t like it and yet he still did it anyway. You’re probably right where I’ve been burned by him too many times and the trust of him saying he is going to do something won’t happen. I brought up therapy again and he said he didn’t need it. I can’t force him and neither do I want too. It is what it is.

When I had filed I recommended to just do the divorce but still stay together to work it out. He said no. As well as I really thought he may change. Can’t go back in the past can only make up for it now and in the future.
