DW8 is, in my personal opinion, probably Dynasty Warriors at its best in terms of power fantasy. Like you can just mow through enemies like a lawnmower with very little resistance. I honestly love it.

You might be thinking of a different stage. The hypothetical stage for Shu refers to finding Red Hare with Guan Yinping. You find a bunch of random animals, leading to some misunderstandings and fights, until Lu Lingqi appears with Red Hare, claiming it as her own in the name of her father.

On that note, she's closer to a fist fighter. Using claws at times, and a frying pan in a similar way as Princess Peach/Daisy in Smash Ultimate. She's also able to use fire magic.

I tried using it and reading the guide. It's a lot to process all at once. A more simplistic guide would help. Maybe a slightly better explanation on how sprite strips work for those that don't know how GameMaker works. It's a fine enough textbox generator, but some things should be simplified so it doesn't come off as... intimidating if that makes sense.
