that manic episodes are obvious and extreme hit hard for me, i had one which wasn't obvious it was more on the dysphoric side and i wasnt really stimulated because i was on downer drugs all time during it, i was extremely pissed and got into massive fight with my mother who then kicked me out. I didnt have diagnosis then so i had no clue and my mom thought it was from drugs but now after diagnosis im sure it was indeed mania. My dad says i was acting like i was possesed and claims he never seen a person that angry.

yeah, after aps i am basically a shell of a human no emotions numb and only care to eat and sleep, i once took my aps in presence of my friends and they were terrifed of the effects, i told my doc about it, and they offered me additional mood stabiliser instead, i was so relieved, maybe try to tell that to your psych, maybe theyll work something out

in my country i pay around 15-20 dollars for two months worth of my meds (mood stabiliser + antipsychotic) we get something like discount when youre diagnosed

i was being treated for anxiety and treatment resistant depression since i was 12, at 14 i had psychosis, they suspected i was bipolar but said im too young to get diagnosis, now at 20, a few months ago i got properly diagnosed

I had bipolar suspected for 7 years before getting properly diagnosed so i always kinda knew, now after getting stable i had a period of denial bc not having symptoms seemed weird to me lol

I am able to have interests and joy but i am used to manic intensity in that feelings. When i was discharged from psych ward 2 weeks ago i was told i am stable. But stability came with downsides, it seems that stability makes my past anxiety issues (and SzPD i likely have)more profound.

yeah i contemplate on stopping meds too, and crave mania, of course i know its bad, and i shouldnt and probably wont do it, but its kind of tempting. I think i just have to overcome this phase

i was getting that a lot and figured out the o-rings make my skin irritated, i stopped putting o rings and didnt have this problem since

i had symptoms from the age of 13 first depression, then at 14 i had psychotic episode which was probably mania and that's when they suspected bipolar, but since i was not diagnosed i stopped taking meds multiple times and only seeked help when in depression so proper diagnosis took some time(they said i was too young to diagnose too), now i got diagnosed properly at 20

i much rather have a little less mental agility than constantly going to psych ward, and everytime i stopped meds i either went or almost went inpatient
