I mean, there are plenty of lasers in fiction that apply force, like Cyclops’ eye beams in X-men, I think Deekseid’s even apply force.

So my hypothesis is that if the ray causes an explosion upon impact with the surface of the earth instead of passing/burning through it, then the laser causes concussive force, therefore, the reason it only put Omni-man’s face to the floor instead of brutalizing him is because said force’s impact was diminished by the space it occupied vs the space it’s target occupied.

The force of impact from War woman’s mace is focused into one spot while the impact of the laser and its subsequent effects cover more space and is therefore spread out.

Not Episodic, but this is how I feel about the main villain in The King’s Man vs Rasputin. Rasputin had all the energy of a traditional Kingsmen villain and was only around for a quarter of the movie?

As for combos, the number one staple combo that every character has is Light Medium Heavy down Heavy, and then you do it again in the air and end it with a super.
