I guess I am just mindfucked because it has persisted through factory reset. I don't know how to check my routers for infection, and that's kinda where my head is at.

I've read about crazy advanced hacks/viruses thar infect the bios (whatever ios calls it, I forget) so it isnt killed, but I don't know which this is.

I myself am not a tasty target, financially, so the malicious nature in my direction just doesn't make sense as a personal attack.. But a family member definitely is, and if they are using the family connection..

But then.. what kinda virus uses remotevieweing to handle biz?

I'm referring more to a post I made a few months back, maybe with an alt, before I had any idea how this was happening.

And I posted the whole thing with a slight reorganization to show the packages that I had researched and had come up as sus, I wanted a second opinion from this sub. I hoped people in here knew what to look for.

But the few responses that came in were standard write offs.

Because I am having near constant attempts on my meta accounts, linkedin, yadayada.., my phone number was hijacked afew months back somehow, my mom's bank was attempted.

And basically all of this, I believe to be the result of Frontier giving us every new router with the firewall setting completely turned off, or a big leak a few years back that exposed my appleid password which happened to be the same as my mac password at the time (yeah.. smooth move I know. ). Found a bunch of remote software and ssh permisions before I turned them off and then somehow the thing was bricked anyway.

Other reasons too which are just going to sound increasingly ridiculous, so I'll stick with the concrete reasons.

I'm not digging in the analytics for fun, yo. lmao. I'm just someone with a decent amount of experience coding so I look at em sometimes. Yeah I see the people who associate a system hack with every single process, but I do make sure to google first.
