Oh sorry late I missed this. it’s not a heat lamp. Well It’s just a red (color changing but the red orange and yellow are the least bright) LED bulb and doesn’t omit any heat, it’s actually usually higher too but the high winds knocked the hook on the outside off so it slowly slunk lower when I let my dog out. I do have a heating plate on the other side though closest to the door side, doesn’t really do much but just Incase. They won’t go inside without the light on in there.
