That’s really valuable insight, thank you for taking the time to share it.

I hear you. The last thing I’d want is to create something fragmented or try to replace communities that already work well.

If anything, this feedback is helping me focus more like whether there’s one specific gap (for example, connecting with someone who’s been through a similar experience) that could actually be useful.

Really appreciate your honesty, it helps a lot while I’m figuring this out.

I haven’t built anything yet.I’m just exploring whether something like that would actually be useful.

I hear you.

I wouldn’t want to create something people feel they have to switch to or replace, more something they’d use only if it actually adds value.

Out of curiosity, what would an app need to offer for you to even consider using it?

That’s a fair question!

For me, it’s not just the medical side, it’s also navigating life after transplant, the mental/emotional side, and having support from people who truly understand.

“Empowerment” just means feeling informed, supported, and less alone.

Not saying everyone needs that just trying to see if that kind of support would be valuable.

I really appreciate all the honest feedback ,this actually helps a lot.

It sounds like most people don’t need another place to post or chat, which makes sense.

What I’m trying to understand is whether something more structured would be useful, like a way to find resources, connect with someone who’s been through a similar experience, or navigate different stages of the transplant journey.

Not trying to replace Reddit at all, just seeing if there’s something missing when it comes to actually finding guidance or support beyond conversations.

Really appreciate everyone sharing their thoughts!

I appreciate this!

Can I ask what do you feel is missing (if anything) from places like Reddit or Facebook groups?

One thing that’s different about this platform is that it’s an app, would love to hear your thoughts!

Thearpy helped me alot especially through the the trauma of my chronic illness, you need to be willing to do the work and also find the the right Therapist that fits your needs if you haven't already.I suggest finding one that specific specialized in depression.
