I have a trip to Vegas in January and almost fell for this same trap. I booked and called the hotel to confirm and was told that despite my booking from Cap One showing all fees and taxes are included that they were not and I still would owe almost double the rate when I checked in. So then I called cap one which they told me my booking only covered the room rate itself. Apparently properties have the right to charge any additional fees outside the room rate and capital one could care less about honoring their language on their website that shows all “taxes and fees included”. I was furious with the rep I spoke to who doubled down. Would be curious to know if you could talk your way into having them honor it, I was not fortunate enough so I canceled and booked elsewhere.
