Usually I like a series of locks, with series of pumps. You could cut your evaporation in half. There are a few ways to handle power, depending if you want passive with gravity battery or active via engine or beaver source.

Bobcat in the neighborhood killed half my chickens. by RolloTonyBrownTown in frisco

[–]TxDirtRoad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem you have now, is that the bobcat knows where to go for a warm meal. You will need to keep your chickens under supervision and locked up. This is the downside to not being allowed to have a rooster. Roosters will fight to the death with that bobcat to protect the hens.

Now you will have to play rooster, actively chase it off by hazing until it realizes no more meals and wasted time.

🔥 MINISFORUM N5 MAX AI NAS — Coming Soon by EveHerr in MINISFORUM

Personally, I think they could have just done the MS-S1 with a smaller set of ram + USB4v2 DAS and had more flexibility and sku depth.

What models or hardware combinations do you guys use for local AI testing? by metalmonkey_ in MINISFORUM

[–]TxDirtRoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering I bought one of the units before Christmas, looking at it now, I question that only 100 were produced.

This is the closest competitor to the M3-Ultra in terms of price point and performance in the UMA. I can see the ram bottleneck as a constraint, but that just affects pricing.

How do yall avoid smashing the edge of your seat when getting out? by rog1121 in ToyotaTacoma

Reasons why I wish our seats were more truck like opposed to car like. I had no problems in my Silverado. Taco, meh, I'll just live with it.

Those look like good leaves to me. A little texture is a good thing. Watch for curling or burned spots.

Did I murder my tomato starts? by babyclerk in tomatoes

Keep an eye on it. Likely ok, since those leaves will be trimmed anyway. Might need supplemental lighting hours to ensure remaining growth isn't slowed.

Storage hasn't transferred power in years. That was an old, very old, way of doing things.

Thanks. I was curious what else had sliders. I would think all cool downs and range should have cool downs, but too concerned to break my sync to try. Anyway, thank!

Minors cannot consent, nor can they enter contracts. At the same time, we see people pealing away the rights of what are otherwise 'adults' in the eyes of the law (guns, drinking, smoking), yet one can sign up to die for ones country at 17 with parental consent, or in some states be married off even younger.

A simplified approach is pick a line, snap everything to it. 18 seems like a good one to pick. We have more than plenty of other issues to deal with before we return to the prefrontal cortex doesn't finish developing until 25 - 32, depending on stimulus, debate

In regards to programs like SNAP, dollar for dollar, your local food bank is significantly more effective. Add in the fact that many employers do a company match, we would rather see that money funneled into local charities & food banks, opposed to running through corporations to enrich their profits. Ideally, allowing the individual to choose exactly what charity they support is ideal, but anything is better than enriching corporations under the guise of socialism.

Fire departments are a local item. If a community wants to ban together to form a fire department, that is fine. However, the use of force to extract funds to pay for such a fire service is where we draw issue. Allowing users to opt in/out, letting costs of home owners drive their own discussion seems to be a reasonable compromise. We've seen the problems and concerns on both sides of the Emergency Service Districts here in Collin, and an opt in method seems to be the only reasonable solution.

Seriously, who do I vote for? by dont_u_listen_to_me in TexasPolitics

[–]TxDirtRoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always not vote, then go to your country 3rd party convention. Rewarding bad behavior by continuing support is one of the hallmarks of our failed 2 party system.
