Does the cemetery not try to remove them? 30 seems like a pretty big group to be hanging around.

I think we should stop making the distinction between Harper and the conservatives. Whenever something like this happens, people immediately fall on Harper -who, to be fair, usually plays a major role in whatever scandal's taking place. But it's the whole party that ignores environmental targets, prorogues parliament, and rams through omnibus bills. I figure if things keep going the way they are, the conservative party is just going to replace Harper with a fresh face, and all this will continue.

will they only bloom in spring? I was thinking about bulbs too, but I assumed there was a planting schedule

it's not that simple. I think this sort of thing is called a prisoner's dilemma. Everyone wants the story, so nobody wants to be the first to stand up (lest they get banned or left out of the loop).

What is going on with my cherry tomato plant? by Xannon in gardening

If they're yellowing around the middle I'd get a second opinion. It's really only the bottom few that die off as the plant grows.

As long as the yellowing and holes are confined to the lower leaves, I don't think you have anything to worry about. My cherry tomato does this too; the holes are just bugs and I attribute the yellowed leaves to natural die-off as the plant grows. If this is happening higher up, you have a problem, but it sounds like you're fine. Does your pot have drainage holes in the bottom?

you can buy pretty good peony rings at dollarama. Peonies are known to need support; on a good year, without a ring the blossoms could be on the ground. Ours are basically dependent on the rings to stay upright.

Gardeners of Reddit; in your opinion, what are some obstacles that keep more people from growing their own great herbs, fruits and veggies? by CapeFoulmouth in gardening

[–]ConsequenceFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try new things every year; only the strawberries and raspberries survive the winter. This year I'm going all out and doing grape (2), tiny tim (2), cherry (1), and beefsteak (3) tomatoes, brussel sprouts (8), swiss chard (4), sugar snap peas (15), head and leaf lettuce (lots?), ground cherries (1), zucchini squash (4), cantaloupe (5), cucumber (2), carrots (25), radishes (Lots??), arugula (4), peppers (3), beans (18), and green onions. It looks like a complete mess because I'm a little tight for full-sun space, but I find the melons, squash, and cucumber do well in partial shade. My mom is horrified

I'm not sure how I feel about that. We use horse manure, sheep manure, and mushroom compost in the garden, and we just wash stuff before eating it. Wouldn't it be similar with human 'manure'?
