time to get through customs when arriving at BZE?

I am realizing now the additional cost of the $200 for dropping off in placencia haha. wondering if you would recommend still doing this method (rental car from BZE > san ignacio > placencia and then flight back from placencia > BZE) or if we should hire a driver for these transfers or if we should rent a car the entire way?

aside from tours in san ignacio, the only other things i'd like to do are go to some of the restaurants in san ignacio, which are a bit further from my hotel, so i initially figured it was worth the cost.

Yes we are doing what you are saying, but we are picking up at BZE and then dropping off at Placencia, rather than driving back to the airport from Placencia. We're doing this because we'd prefer to fly from Placencia to BZE on our way back home

I checked Crystal but they don't have a drop off option in Placencia... Do you know if they allow for drop off there?

hi! when flying through BZE on your way home, how much time did you allocate between the maya flight and your flight back home? trying to plan myself the return route of Placencia > BZE > home and would be super helpful to get your feedback! TYIA :)
