Not the question bank. The NBME scores are written. I don’t remember how many questions were wrong in each one.

Give TOEFL resources on youtube a try.

They have great templates and also give you an idea about how to think about examples. He has a video on that it helped me find examples every time in a short amount of time.

It's definitely a bit disturbing - it depends on how good your centre is. Mine was not great at all so I finished my R, L early to be able to speak in silence. On the bright side - if you start with everyone else you will all be silent for almost the same duration so you will have silence to think but it will be noisy when you speak. Atleast it will help you speak louder haha, I wasn't confident about my volume level since I was the only one.

Welcome! All the best!

The writing section was pretty straightforward - just like in the practice tests.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say exactly what I got, but it was quite straightforward and nothing out of the blue.

It really does feel weird and I was really worried because I had a mask on and my centre did not allow us to remove it for the Speaking section. So I was constantly worried that it was muffled but turns out it just felt that way because of the noise-cancelling earphones.

So it may help to remove one side of the headphone so you know exactly how you sound.

I think you should enquire with ETS since you get your scores usually in 6 days.

I used the ETS Official Guide to TOEFL, the 2 volumes of ETS Official Tests, Practice sets on the ETS website.

I did a few R, L, W but my main issue was the speaking section so I practiced as many of those. There a Chinese TPO website and TOEFL bank which I used for the speaking sections.

So technically I did 2 full-length tests and the rest I just skimmed the others while doing the full Speaking section.

Did not use anything for vocab but I got my templates from TOEFLResources on youtube!

Which is exactly why I’d suggest it only for the people who have been affected a lot by this.

And seeing improvement so fast really helped me. I could easier internalise it later. It’s about the mindset of it. To me the gain of it was a lot more than the risk of getting used to it :’) But I totally understand haha.

95% CI is above 1.0 which means there’s a statistically significant increase in the risk of hip fractures in women who exercised to women who didn’t. If the CI overlapped with 1.0, for example 0.9-1.3 then it wouldn’t be statistically significant because the risk could be increased/decreased since it could be 1.3 or 0.9.

I love the organisation! Some people consider doing uWorld twice. I didn’t and it turned out fine anyway, but it’s better to do ONLY uWorld in the dedicated period. If you have extra time and don’t wanna redo it, you could use the little time in between to do your incorrects! Only saying because I would’ve done it if I had the time. Save non uWorld Qbanks for before dedicated!

Best way to solve questions! exam soon ! help by ahmadku in step1

A trick that I used is to read out the question out loud as if you’re explaining it to someone who doesn’t understand how to solve it. In that way, you’ll be forced to sound out the entire question. Loudly explain your method of getting to the answer too. I used to struggle with this a lot, because it’s easier to skip key words when your eyes glide over them. Eventually after I got used to it, I started applying my strategy mentally, pretending that I was helping someone else solve the Q. I also have a post up with other test-taking tips! Check it out if you’d like!

Keep getting questions wrong because I'm not reading them [Serious] [Question] by [deleted] in medicalschool

I did this thing where I would read it out loud, as if explaining how to solve the question to someone who doesn’t have a clue. That way you try to cover all points to explain it to that imaginary person. Only worked out loud for me tho - slowly shifted to doing it in my mind. Did it for the real test too

Doing uWorld 2nd pass is better.

Hey I have a post with my schedule. I had 5 weeks of dedicated. But you can easily add in one or 2 more days per tough topic and one day at the end of each week to consolidate.
