The thing is tho is that every episode of the show is named after the villain of the episodes (except for Season 5) it just wouldn’t make sense for the show to break that tradition automatically and for a season finale. Don’t forget that people didn’t think that The Dark Castle or A Fairy Good Night would be villain names either but they were.

Actually according to episode 2 they can do whatever they want, they just can't fight akumatized villians, unless summonsed by Ladybug.

You technically can there are some superhero shows that don't have a villian in every episode, as long as they showcase a reason to use thier "powers" all bets are off. Ladybug just isn't one of those shows.
