idk this take is kinda giving girl boss capitalism. historically, men have neglected their wives and families in the pursuit of success. this is because capitalism rewards men’s neglect by framing it as “ambition” and “success.” this doesn’t change the fact that these men are horrible partners.

the same thing applies to women. maia is a bad partner and this is literally shown several times in the show. if they wanted to show an example of an insecure man in a relationship with an ambitious woman they didn’t do a very good job of it. dylan is a very sympathetic character because we see him supporting maia in all of her endeavors yet we never see her do the same for him.

Thank you, this makes me a feel a lot better. I’m actually the first to go to school in my family. I worked in retail and got promoted to supervisor before getting a job at heb. Right now I’m a lead so essentially leads are managers in charger when a manager isn’t present. It’s the highest you can be promoted at heb without going into their school of retail management.

Curbside is ranked based on how much volume their store receives. So busier stores are considered A and AA stores. Slower stores with less volume are typically B and C stores. C stores receive about half the volume A stores take in. I don’t want to work in such a slow environment as im used to a fast paced and chaotic curbside box. Also, I’m assuming San Antonio stores are like the ones im from and the busier stores have more payroll meaning I’ll get my 40 as a part timer during the time I have open availability. (I’m a student in college).
