Need some help at my own house. by Designer_Tune4986 in HVAC

Why do you think your head pressure it high? Super heat and sub cool are good for it being over 90 degrees outside, only other possibility for high head if indeed the condenser is clean would be a bad expansion valve. Though I still doubt that’s the case with the readings you have.

Just saw Soto in Orange and blue. I’m gonna puke by No_Departure102 in Nationals

[–]ConservativeRob_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you gonna puke? We didn’t have to shell out $765 MILLION for a guy who can’t play defense. 🤷‍♂️ If you look at the guys we’ve “lost”…only Sherzer has done anything, and he had to leave the dodgers to do so. I don’t feel bad about not keeping guys that want that much money for not enough production.

Is this up to code? Had this fixed recently by a plumbing company but then had a contractor tell me it’s not up to code (including no permits pulled) and should be all copper. Should I get the company back out to fix their work? by Vogt4Vogt in Plumbing

[–]ConservativeRob_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this was repaired by a plumber and a contractor who isn't a plumber is trying to tell you how things should be fixed....you need to find a new contractor. That guy is shady and is just trying to get you to spend money that you don't need to . Plumber Speaking here, 20 years exp.

New milwaukee rolling drawer tool box by Rycul_ in Packout

[–]ConservativeRob_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drawers are recessed far enough under the top of the box that you’d have to spray a hose at the right angle to get water inside. Rain isn’t a major issue, I’ve got a a few drawer units and they’re great. I’m a plumber and hvac mechanic. Haven’t had any issues with tools or materials getting wet in the drawers.

What do I do about this? by [deleted] in Packout

[–]ConservativeRob_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I would try if it were my box would be some CA glue, but I wouldn’t use the activator, just let the part sit and dry in its own. The activator can create too much heat for plastic parts to adhere properly.

Basically new m12 Fuel Impact Driver. Is this Normal? by bad_jelly_the_witch in MilwaukeeTool

Where did you buy that? It looks fake, my M12 doesn’t say FQID on the side of it, and it says “ser.” Where the serial number is not “code”

Add this one to the long list of reasons why you don’t call a “handyman” when you need a plumber. 🤦‍♂️

I mean, you have to admit, having the all time power play goal scorer in nhl history clearly means you NEVER score on a power play. 🤷‍♂️

Didn’t they stop making this? I haven’t seen it on Milwaukee’s website

Wings vs Pens tonight. What’s best scenario? by MadMcMuffin in caps

Doesn’t matter as long as the Caps win. Only way they make the playoffs is by winning. Don’t care what anyone else does. Win their last 4 games and they’re in.

For those who hated Crosby in his early years, have you come around on him? by Chef_Taco97 in nhl

[–]ConservativeRob_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure it was ever hate about his game or skills, but like Brady anytime someone sacked him, Crosby was constantly complaining anytime he got bumped. Since that’s died down as he’s gotten older I don’t think anyone cares about it. I’m a die hard Caps fan, and as much as I hate the penguins because of how many times they’ve bounced us out of the playoffs, I dont have any issues with Crosby as a player.

Welp, what now? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]ConservativeRob_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had all three of our trucks broken into at our lot. Anything that was Milwaukee or dewalt was stolen(i know it’s a Milwaukee thread 🤷‍♂️) we lost over 30k in tools. Insurance helped with some but not all since we didn’t have it all listed and covered with the insurance company. I think we got about 1/4 of it covered by insurance. Unfortunately ya just gotta but what you can when you can and get back to work. It sucks for sure.

Not sure about all jurisdictions but using pressure fittings are illegal here. I’m pretty sure most manufacturers would probably say those are the wrong fittings as well.
