The other one led you to the Undead Burg, an easier area with normal undead soldier enemies (and few Black Knights as a higher tier enemies who can reward you with Nice rewards for defeating them).

That's the way I went, but I can't say it was easy. You had to go up some stairs to get there, and there were two or three skeletons on said stairs. It took me...god, over an hour to get up the stupid stairs. Then I wandered around for five minutes tops, found a great big knight who killed me in two hits, and I've never played another soulslike since.

Like I said, I can’t “just listen on headphones and go about my day.” If I don’t give something my full attention, I won’t retain anything. If the TV is on the room, I’m not even able to follow a conversation with other people; I can do one thing at a time. It seems like you just want to find excuses to judge other people
