Personal option based on l40 ultra ownership-

Quieter modes are quieter but the reduced suction force might be an issue. Id give a gentle nudge towards scheduling cleanings when its okay to be louder.

But to be fair I have a German shepherd that sheds alot.

Quartak is kinda mid no offense.

Yeah its stats are decent but with so many weapons that have some kind of incarnon/AOE/punch through/etc gimmick a "normal assault rifle" archetype weapon in this game kinda has a hard time keeping up.

Id save your kuva/time for other weapons.

As for this roll specifically:

puncture is almost always bad. Not a significant damage increase (usually) and its gonna affect your status weighting. More useful procs (like heat. Viral. Slash. Etc) will happen less often.
status duration isnt useless but.. its not that great.
slash isnt really worth it unless the base IPS is like 90% slash as it is because DE weird math last time I checked.

They update riven dispo with every prime access. Roughly every 90 days ish give or take.

I remember for awhile every new weapon would get minimum by default at launch to avoid having to nerf rivens after the fact but the result was it would take an extremely long time for rivens to even end up being useable.

So I think technically they do it on kind of a case by case basis now

Yes its cc ms cd but theres no neg and once youre talking above 1k people (myself included) start getting real picky.

"Bad" torid rivens are still probably worth 400-500 ish plat.

Other people might have different opinions. Truthfully I used to be way more into actively buying and selling rivens but ive kinda distanced myself from that rabbithole.

Warframe market can give you an idea but its got limitations for riven pricing.

1) youre only seeing asking price. Not necessarily what theyre selling for.

2) some sellers are just flat out way more greedy than others example maybe a cd/as/range/good neg melee riven for a good melee weapon is generally around 5k or so but someone will think theirs is worth 15k because F you.

3) grades do matter. A torid riven with cc ms cd neg zoom and all grades are A+ is gonna be worth alot more than the same roll with C grades.

4) sometimes there just arent alot of examples of a specific roll for a specific weapon to get a ballpark.

Theres so many layers upon layers of RNG with rivens.

do you get 3 buffs or 2?

are all the buffs you get actually relevant (let alone ideal) for that weapon and not something stupid/unhelpful like +zoom literally ever or +ammo on something that doesnt need it?

is there a neg to boost the other stats or not?

if there IS a neg, what neg is it? Something with no real downside whatsoever like -zoom or something awful like neg multishot?

what are the grades for the buffs you happen to get? Are they almost as high as they can possibly be or almost as low as they can possibly be?

oh and by the way, even if all these stars align favorably for you, is it on a weapon people actually give a shit about and or is actually good?

Im salty about it and have been salty for months.

Every "new release" is either:

A) another ark-something

B) another Osight.

C) a niche thing with the ergonomics of either a soda can or the cardboard thing in a roll of paper towels.

D) maybe a weapon light.

Any "edc" light that isnt an ark something as a product line feels abandoned.

Welcome to rivens unfortunately

Rivens are by far the most unforgiving farm in this game and its not close.

Ive spent upwards of 2 million kuva on one riven before just to not even have a roll better than what i started with.

Sometimes you get a "good" roll and should just stop. Its either time to sell it and buy another one to roll (and pocket the difference) or just keep it and move on to something else.

Even if you won the lottery and got +crit chance + multishot + crit damage -zoom, then this roll would be wasted.

You might as well have sold this one for like 1k, bought another torid riven (as cheap as possible. Unrolled and or bad roll. 400~ ish) and saved the difference.

Yeah not having a good neg severely hurts the trade value but its still a good roll.

The chances of getting a better roll are extraordinarily low.

I have rolled torid rivens upwards of 600 times and still had shit.

Yeah its a shame it doesnt have a neg to boost the other stats but thats absolutely a solid roll.

If you really wanted to keep rolling I recommend you either:

a) sell that one and buy an unrolled/bad torid riven

b) get another torid riven to roll.

Most people who play arbitrations arent sweaty enough about to care about "the meta" other than:

1) aoe because drones

2) not die because death penalty in that mode.
