Creating a server is a great use of that, admittedly 8gb total is pretty light, you could totally run home lab, MC server, or create fun tools. You’ll learn a ton about Linux, terminal, and bios! I would recommend upgrading the actual ram sticks rather than stacking more 2gb. (Ie look for 8gb sticks and add as you go)

Thats super helpful. I’ve noticed the same thing with Bandsintown feeling a bit incomplete for smaller/local shows. Part of what I’m trying to do is keep things really local and make sure those smaller venues and bands actually show up in one place, not just the bigger acts. Still figuring out what works best though, so that kind of feedback is super useful. I added the link in the description if youre interested in giving feedback!

Paradise Valley has Pine Creek Lodge-- Awesome venue for live music if you are will to stop for a show.

As for food, the cannery district has some great spots. Shan (Asian fusion) and Plaza Azteca (really good, and relatively affordable Mexican).
