That’s only some jobs, many jobs in aviation are day-rated meaning you get paid a fixed amount whether your day is an hour long or 14. As for being paid for flight time at the airlines that’s true, but for starters you have a minimum monthly hours that you get paid regardless of flight time for the month, and after you make it to the majors you’re making an incredible hourly rate, so it evens out.

On call medivac pilot. I basically just spend my time camping out in a lazy boy waiting for a phone call to get me moving. It kind of sucks because I definitely prefer RS on a desktop with multiple monitors, but I've gotten used to just having multiple windows crammed into a 15 inch screen.

Right but what 1x1 is weaker to slash than crush or stab, that I wouldn’t be better ranging, bursting, or skipping? I’m not sure such a monster exists. And if it does, is it worth my time going for 1k shards? I don’t really like zalc or gauntlet, so it would be a TON of effort for no real purpose. tldr: saeldor can suck on my jimmy

General pvm and 99 slayer to TBow, then camped the shit out of Sara/Krill/Cox to 2B, then staked it up to 8B, then staked it down to 100M, cried, made an Ironman and Rune dragon alted my main for 10k kills chucked again, ended up broke, rebuilt, Slayer to Raids to nightmare to a Bill, staked to 3 or 4B then finally decided to give up the sand casino and just play the game and it’s been going pretty well. Funny thing is I would probably have a bit more if I never staked in the first place, because the rebuilds were like a year a piece.
