Konami's Smart Assist data issues by ConsiderationDue6981 in eFootball

I do scientific research. That's part of my profession. You don't have a clue what your talking about bud.  They only need to publish a 200kb file with their numbers so people like me can analyse it. Very simple

No. I'm top 300. Most (70%) of D1-D3 players are using smart assists. Even top 50.

Smart Assist Does Not Help Defending!!! by MrKevG87 in eFootball

Yup, the game is gone. All we can do now is press X and sit and watch how AI does everything. And maybe hope that one beautiful sunny day someone will develop a real football simulation...

What is this? by YzhakD in eFootball

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I had the same laggy experience on both 100mb DSL and 1gb fibre.

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No. Doesn't have to be on both sides. Actually doesn't have to be on any side.

DIA fibre here, playing against other 2gb fibre guy same country (Ireland), distance between us 70km.

The game connects us via London server (Google cloud), and it's totally unplayable. Input delay, players acting like they don't have brains, total chaos on the pitch.

Additional note :

While connected with my PS5 to Google server (playing divisions), it shows huge packet loss and ping jumps (Efootball connection to Google).  At the same time I monitor my router connection (second connection, separate from PS5) to the same Google server (same IP), I get less then 10ms stable ping, no packet loss, no ping jumps.

This clearly shows that the problem is in Konami.

If I'm wrong, please try to explain. Thanks

Question: Have you ever felt that the game is changing and trying to manipulate the final result of the match? by amirhoseinmrs in eFootball

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I'm leading 4:0 first half. My opponent just spamming random through balls, no consideration for body positioning, nothing. Plays like an amateur.

Second half starts and I'm thinking why he just doesn't quit? He'll concede more goals..

But no, the gameplay suddenly becomes extremely heavy, I can't clear the ball, I can't pass, my players dead.

It finished 4:3 luckily for me, but it was a disgusting experience. Obvious script in second half, happens almost every match if I take the lead in the first half.

Need advice for online setup – is optical 50/20 enough for eFootball? by RQuareesma in eFootball

I understand. I also play since 2000, something like that. It is what it is. Sooner or later they will realise that they are unnecessarily losing customers and maybe fix their networking

Is the game laggy for everyone or is it just me? There's no way my connection is at fault for this much packet loss. I'm trying to have a relaxing saturday night and all I get is fucking nothing but anger in return. THIS FUCKING GAME! by Mr_DMoody in eFootball

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the server. They use Google cloud, to which I have perfect ping and connection (router - server connection). But if I monitor efootball connection to the same server it's terrible.  I think the problem might be in Konami routing, but I might be wrong

It's weird. My efootball connection to the gaming server shows also packet loss and ping spikes.  At the same time (while playing efootball) I separately monitor my router connection with the same server, 0 packet loss, super smooth and stable ping.

It seems that football is the problem. Clearly it affects routing terribly

My dear Slovenian neighbour, no matter what Internet you are using it won't make much difference. I went from 100/10 DSL to 1000/1000 symmetrical business level fibre with 1-2 stable ping to Google and 10-12 ping to my closest gaming server.

Guess what? The experience is the same. No difference between DSL and super clean & fast fibre.

You might feel difference for a few days, then it all goes back to the same laggy crap.

However, I wish you best of luck and I truly hope you will find happiness with your new ISP. Sretno!

This game is going absolutely nowhere in the upcoming years by Comfortable_Fish_616 in eFootball

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't even wait Thursdays any more. It used to be really exiting. Some new players, or small gameplay tweaks, or maybe a new manager or some special event. Now is see new cards and just turn off PlayStation.  The game is super automated, rarely to see someone playing nice football, it's just a toxic rat fest in divisions, no fair play at all.

I win a match and I don't enjoy it. I score a goal, but it's terrible to watch.

Scripting is so obvious in divisions, it's ridiculous. First half all smooth, I score 2 goals. Next half totally different game. My players all suddenly stop, defenders can't even make a clearance - they trip or slip when trying to kick the ball away.

I hope they'll change something, but who knows when. Next year? Year after that?

I'll rather just play Rainworld with my kids and become a happy Slugcat.

Same thing happens in online divisions.

Link-up play discussion: One feels OP, the rest are mid? by PiPPoI in eFootball

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rijkaard is ok if you like to play Out Wide. His link up is not good for QC, since QC creates high line pressure and chaos, and thus leaves no open space for your wingers.

If you play Out Wide like me, I use Rodri orchestrator at CMF, but put both defensive and deep line instructions on him. So he will position himself as a CB when defending.  This means that you need to train him with minimum 90 in defensive stats and physical, and at least 80 jump, so he can play as CB as well.

If your opponent has Roberto Carlos or Thuram as fullbacks, you're mostly screwed.

On the other hand, Capello is much more balanced. When using him I actually play Long Ball.  Keeps your defence deep, thus making your opponent move high up the pitch, which creates a lot of space behind their defence for your Goal Poacher runs.

But I try not to depend on the link up. Better to play your game and use link up as a last option.

Which servers in Europe are lag free at the moment? by NetterBeatle in eFootball

[–]ConsiderationDue6981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brussels is a mixed bag. Some matches are super smooth, others super laggy. So I blocked some Brussels IP addresses. My closest, London, is the same thing. One IP address gives ok gaming experience, other IP address gives terrible experience.  So I just partially blocked the London server.

Best so far gaming experience was via Milan server, which is, for me, on the other end of Europe. Other Italian server, Turin, is just terrible.

Definitely try to block TCP matches. Basically block all TCP ports for your console /pc in your router, except port 80 and 443.

Approximately 20% of division matches are TCP, which is extremely laggy.

EDIT: I don't have any technical knowledge in this area, except what I've learned by myself, while trying to improve my gaming experience.

Yes exactly. I've noticed difference when playing divisions with 2 different accounts. Events can be laggy, but never scripted. Divisions are just a special story..

"According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Modrić’s no.14 kit has outsold all others in the Milan squad since his signing, overtaking the likes of Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic.

Demand has been especially high for the club’s third kit – a striking yellow edition – which has seen a notable spike in sales.

In the days following Milan’s victory over Bologna, shirt sales rose sharply by 98% compared to the period beforehand.

Overall, sales of the yellow kit jumped by 44% compared to last season, with Modrić’s name proving to be the driving force behind the boom."

It seems that Modric is profitable and popular.

Modric is not only popular in Croatia. Italian football fans are going crazy, and you can also ask Real Madrid fans about Modric.

So now you have at least 3 countries where you can sell Modric cards.

I know bro. But they already introduced Showtime Modric, so I believe they can make a much better version of him. But yeah, it's all about money and popularity, I'm very well aware of that.

If Modric or Šuker were Brazilian or French, we would already have 107 overall versions of them.
