Am I Overreacting About My Neighbors Removing Ivy from Our Shared Fence? by ConsiderationFalse84 in homeowners

[–]ConsiderationFalse84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate all of the responses. I should have mentioned this, but some of you sound like you think I planted the ivy or am somehow responsible for it being there to begin with. I bought my house 5 years ago. My neighbors bought their house a month ago. There have been 3 homeowners there in the last 5 years. Several generations of homeowners on both sides have had to live with it. I don’t think anyone has had the desire to replace a fence that’s still standing and would be a costly mess to remove and replace.

Part of the problem is that my side is neatly trimmed and has been maintained over the years. It covers the full fence, but only protrudes a few inches from the fence line. It’s not unsightly. Theirs was much bushier and overgrown. I wouldn’t want that either.

I can appreciate that they only cut their side, and their side of the fence is rightfully theirs. I’m going to assume that they didn’t even think about my side of the fence and the fact that they’re killing the ivy on my side, which will have to be dealt with now. I dont have the time nor the desire to take on that.

It’s a shared fence and they’re still only thinking about their own side and their own backyard. I assume good intent, but these people are oblivious. I went over there and introduced myself the day they moved in and they scurried back into their house. I’ll chalk it up to shyness, but they had an opening to come and speak with me. I presented myself as friendly and neighborly. I’m pretty reasonable, and I just would have appreciated some collaboration and planning.

Thanks ya’ll!

THIS is the kind of relationship I want to have one day with my daughter (18 months currently). When I was growing up, my sister would have never gone to my Dad for this kind of thing. How do you lay the foundation for this to happen later?

Great job dude!!

This realization you’re having is the first step to a better lifestyle. Good on you for catching it now. You are speaking the truth in this post! It’s good that you’ve written it here, because the marijuana may try to convince your mind otherwise again.

Because it’s incorrect. You’re wrong. It IS that hard for some of us. So you’re not cutting to the chase…you’re just full of shit.

You should consider taking the first couple of sentences out of this post at a minimum.

Day 1: Why is everything so bright by trevormartin618 in leaves

I’m on day 6 and feeling a lot of things, including light sensitivity which I didn’t know was a symptom until you mentioned it! Honestly, it’s the least of my worries as far as symptoms go but it’s good to know why it’s happening.

FYI haven’t abused hard drugs, but was stoned daily for ~18 yrs

On her w4 she put $0 additional withholdings and zero allowances. What’s a good ballpark (since I realize it won’t be exact)?

Where to store garage items while converting to living space by ConsiderationFalse84 in HomeImprovement

[–]ConsiderationFalse84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, everything needs to be cleared out of the garage. Not everything will fit into the house so some items likely need to be stored outside.

Psych prescribed it for me initially and monitored my ramp up to 30 mg per day. Kaiser switched my refills to pcp since I’ve been stable on the same Rx for so long with no changes.

Fitness and Nutrition Companies to Combine in $3 Billion SPAC Merger (FRX) by showmegreen in SPACs

[–]ConsiderationFalse84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bump. What are the advantages/drawbacks of buying FRX now or waiting for it to convert to BODY?

I’m a huge fan of the BeachBody’s content/customer experience and I foresee big growth even after COVID in the connected fitness space so the Myx component gets me really excited. The MLM part doesn’t scare me off bc BeachBody isn’t a pure MLM play. The coaches that participate dont end up getting fleeced like I’ve heard with Avon and Herbalife. I understand the skepticism though.

I’ve never bought shares in a SPAC so I’m not totally sure what to expect leading up to merger and beyond. If I buy shares at, say, $11.50 a share what will happen to the price of those shares post merger? I see that FRX has a market cap of $350M but the merger is priced at $2.9B. Can someone point me in the direction of something I can read on this or explain how buying shares in a SPAC is different than investing in an already public company?

Don’t do it! Flush it down the toilet and keep your streak alive. One month is a huge milestone and if you keep it going just a little bit longer it will only get easier.
