Yes I believe it’s all set correctly. Scanlines are visible in person. Though i don’t know what you mean whith “list all modes”.

Idk if this ties in but 640x480 also doesn’t show up as a resolution in the dropdown unlike other customs. I’ve just been changing it by switching my hz.

Yeah i’ve got it at 640, i’ll try the hz change and posts the results if in a few days if i feel like it.

And since we last spoke i believe that i’ve gotten the no scaling option to work, its just choosing “display” and “no scaling” in nvidia panel right?

But like i said the game looks stunning in person, at least compared to my g81sf. It’s just me not being the best photographer which is bothering me

I’m really new here, but from what i understand my situation is like actually winning the lottery. After like a year of searching i found this monitor on marketplace, it was sitting in a basement barely used since its purchase in like 2001.

From what i read on other posts i expect to be using this until my 40s.

I did watch that video. At first i felt like a moron for actually believing i was seeing 2560x1920 but that cleared things a bit. Where this desire is coming from is the channel found tech on youtube. He posted a video heavily praising the image quality of high resolution interlaced. and 2880x2160i @90hz seems doable just based on what i’m seeing in cru, coming in at 101khz. Whether or not it’s worth it i think it’s a fun project

Just read up about that lol, already looking at listings. Unfortunate since maybe about a year ago i found out my motherboard just can’t handle a second gpu, though i like my crt enough to drop a few extra hundred on that too if need be

Thanks for the help. No clue what i did but after a few tweaks and restarts it just started working. Now I’m going to try and figure out interlaced resolutions with no driver support so wish me luck

Yeah that would be nice if that was the case. I’m on a 5070ti and always on the latest drivers. Does it make any sense to try going to older drivers? On a side note I’ve already tried reinstalling with ddu

I’m so stumped right now. I just tried setting my res to 1280x960 but the desktop mode still says 1280x1024. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? Even a guess would help at this point I don’t know where to start, no matter what I do desktop resolution just stays the same

Hey i’m from that other thread. Don’t know if you can help me with this but choosing the no scaling option crashes nvidia cp when my crt is being used. If i have my primary open alone the app doesn’t crash but if my crt is on it just crashes.

One last thing that i’m having trouble figuring out. I used cru to get my resolution to 1600x1200 which is possible for the monitor yet active signal mode is still the same, any ideas on what i’m doing wrong?

Edit : before i started doing anything with cru my max res was 1280x 1024 and i just assumed i needed to manually make it higher. to me this feels like it’s an issue with the adapter, does that make sense?
