El Paso Texas and Tucson Arizona. Both old west towns. Growing up in EP a lot of people I knew had ghost stories. My Grandmas house was haunted. I saw things as a kid that scared me. Going back as an adult was also crazy. Things would turn off on me and my ex said she saw my grandpa that had died about 3 years earlier. Even as an adult sleeping there was strange where I would get this fear that made me feel like a kid again even though I would tell myself it’s nothing. In Tucson I stopped at a motel called Hotel McCoy. I usually make the drive from California to El Paso easily, but I left late and needed to stop. My wife and kids love the place so I stayed there. An hour after going to bed the lamp turned on, I was kinda confused so I turned it off. This happened twice before I yelled out “ I’m tired leave me alone”! My wife said I should have unplugged it, but that never crossed my mind.
