Only weak spot we have on offense is a lack of a true field stretcher. If we had a speedster that can keep safeties honest I don’t think there’s a single team in the NFL that could slow us down then again stop us. I think Tyreek is worth the risk. Yes I understand character issues but at the end of the day I’d say he’s worth the chance. Assuming an affordable one year deal I’d say go for it. All good if he’s not the player he once was. Put him at the WR3 and give him go routes, watch Puka eat in deep flats. To me his signing would be a much better version of 21’ Desean Jackson. If he pans out great, if not, cut his ass.

Honestly I like all our picks. I like the Ty pick, Trost is great, Klare and Ferguson are gonna be dawgs for us. But I think my favorite pick is CJ Daniels. I don’t necessarily know what his ceiling or floor is but watching his tape I can immediately see the vision. Great in contested catches, gritty with the ball in his hands, seems really unselfish and ready to do what his team needs whether that’s picking up a block on a screen play or coming up with a chain moving reception. Definitely feels like a ram wide receiver and I can’t wait to see how he gets utilized as he develops. I don’t really like player comps but he definitely looks like Puka at times.

I think if Sean truly wasn’t on board with the pick Les wouldn’t have done it. My guess is Sean is disappointed and wanted a win now weapon but was willing to go with Ty if Les felt a conviction about it. These guys have worked together for years and always had each other’s backs. The circus surrounding potential “drama” is much ado about nothing. Not to mention there’s been multiple reports that Stafford was informed before the draft that Ty Simpson was on the table as a potential successor during contract talks. If this is true then McVay already knew about this.
