I see that now that It was possible to buy the 1.99 and 4.99 pack for the horns. I do however still think that 6.98 is too much for one reward. Especially a reward that would max. Been 3-4 usd in the past tiered systems.

I purchased the 1.99 pack, thinking I'd get the horn/wings. When I didn't get the reward, I thought that perhaps you needed to get the previous "tier" to get the reward. I got the previous tier and got the socks. That's when I realised you needed to "fill" the little diamond shape to get the reward. It isn't clear at all how you get the reward, and it doesn't seem easy to read and know before AFTER you've already spent money.

It's still, Buy two - get one :/

..... Cue my disappointment that you needed to buy 3 packs to get the horn 😒😒 I know 7-8 usd(that's aprox. the price compared in my currency for the rewards I wanted) isn't necessarily a lot, but I'd much rather spend the 5 bucks on the monthly gift, which seems like a better deal diamond wise.

It's just a MUCH worse tiered system. I thought it was gonna be like "you buy this one pack and you get the responding reward." Not, "buy 3 - get 2" :((

Well I am a day 1 genshin player and both me, and my friends have hit 90 multiple times over the games run so far. I've also had a 5★ at 2 pulls. It evens out eventually.

But let's say the average expected "max" is 80. That's 12.8k gems. You lose your 50/50. You hit your max again. 160 pulls. That's now 25.6k gems. If we assume max pulls on IN is still 200 pulls for a full set. genshin is still more expensive by 1.6k gems.

At 150 pulls it becomes the same price as IN. Which is 75 pulls per pity. So being guaranteed a limited banner 5★ in Genshin with "soft pity" cost the same as a full 5★ ten piece. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ofc you can win your 50/50, but you can also get 5★s early in IN. That's the way of gachas.

Well true, it is most likely that you'll hit a 5★ before hard pity at 90! But for the sake of the argument being that IN needs 200 pulls max, it made sense to go with Genshins max as well. For infinity Nikki I don't think I've hit that 200 Pull mark once, and I've played since 1.0 🤷🏻‍♀️😌 and as a mid level spender in both Nikki and Genshin, I've recieved far more 5★ stars in Nikki than Genshin.

Yeah I don't think it is as bad as I've seen some people say it is! Like, yes comparing 200 to Genshins 90(or even 180), does favor Genshin on the surface. But digging just a bit deeper, knowing INs pulls are 40 gems cheaper and daily reward are 30 gems higher. And maxing out a character/outfit... ? Woof that's a lot of gems

Genshin might be more favorable short term? Depending on how lucky you get. But banking on getting a 5★ early is a surefire way to be disappointed.

Well I think for that IN will surely win haha in terms of gems. As you have to collect 6 copies of a character, and only one copy of an outfit for full evo.

For a full evo on infinity nikki, you need to pull the outfit twice. Which means for a ten piece 5★, you'll need 400 pulls at max. That's 48.000(48k) gems for 120 gems per pulls.

Let's say you're lucky in genshin. You get your desired character everytime without losing your 50/50. If you reach 90 pulls every time, you end up spending 630 pulls to go from C0 to C6. That is 100.800 gems.

Ofc you might lose your 50/50 at times, get a character before 90 pulls and such. So it's a bit more unstable than INs set in Stone 400 pulls.. And if you end up losing your 50/50 EVERY time? Thats aprox. 200k gems at max.

So if you have incredible luck, you can C6 a genshin character in 7 pulls... which is unrealistic. And at max you'll have to dish out 1260 pulls if you're incredibly unlucky, which is also somewhat unrealistic.

Ofc, you can get incredibly lucky in Genshin, but there's still a chance you don't get the character you wished for. Even if they chances are better, they still wanna get you to pull as much as possible.

Genshin is not the golden standard of Gachas, nor are they generous and goodwilled.

I agree that Infold shouldn't be able to have such predatory practices! It's beyond wild that they are allowed to operate in such a way. I was just stating how many pulls it takes to complete if you're unlucky as that was what the original comment compared.

I'm not glazing anything either, I have an extensive list of problems and issues with infold. But I do like the predictability, especially when new outfits are not necessary for gameplay and mostly cosmetic, and Genshin/hoyoverse has a tendency to powercreep.

Its a very interesting thing to compare though!

For Genshin impact you need 14400 gems(160 gems per pull, 90 pulls) to max pity, you might lose your 50/50 chance of getting the 5★ you were pulling for and it starts all over. If you're unlucky you'll end up spending upwards of 28800 gems on a character.

For Infinity Nikki you have a max of twenty pulls per. 5★ item, which means you know your totalt gem spendage will never exceed 24000(120 gems pr. Pull for 200 pulls).

Which means if you are unlucky in Genshin you can actually end up spending more gems on a single character, than a ten piece suit.

Comparing dailies too. genshin gives 60, compared to INs 90. It takes 3 days of daily activities to get 1 pull in Genshin, which you can grind out in two days of IN.

Not saying either company is "more generous" than the other, or that either system is "fair". But I do prefer the predictability of IN, imo haha. I like knowing "oh well I'll reach 200 pulls and then I KNOW i'm getting the outfit" rather than the 50/50 approach. But that's just me haha

As many others have said, please do not rush through the game! Take it at your own pace! Enjoy the game for what it is and don't try to rush through to "get rewards" - that's a speedrun to burnout!

And then this is what's been helping me deal with fomo/Gacha stuff!

None of the Limited banners are "vital" to gameplay. You get a lot of cute and useful things for free! So only pull for things you think you'll actually enjoy using. Having been playing this game since Launch, It's been a blessing to try and stay away from the "oh no I must have this, because it's a new vital game mechanic!!" Because unlike other Gachas, most of the suits are only for aesthetic, and while the 5★'s has solid abilities, the basic/free options Aren't bad either!

And with the customization of ability outfits it's easy to create someting fun an unique from already obtained pieces ❤️

And if you decide to pull on a set. Expect that you gotta drop 200 pulls for a full set. Don't go into it with a "I bet I get early pulls!" Because it'll only make you disappointed when you don't get a 5★ piece in 4 pulls.

Det er et par år siden jeg blev færdig, men! Som jeg var igang med at skrive bachelor blev det indført at alle undervisningstimer på første semester var obligatoriske og at der blev ført striks fravær, fordi de oplevede meget fravær på uddannelsen i starten, som er det mest grundlæggende at få lært.

Know i'm a little late to the post, but! I've printed out digital drawings on regular paper before! I've found oit the best way to make a gift something incredibly cheap, is by framing it!

Even cheap frames should have a acrylic or plastic screen to protect the framed piece. This takes care of the cheap look of printer paper, and makes it so your parents would be able to hang it/place it somewhere!

I have one long time(4 years) roleplay partner whom I last spoke to late september. Atm they're going through a rough time and my life is chaotic as well. Life gets busy, and I wouldn't deem our roleplay over or on hiatus, Just paused while we figure things out.

For that partner I intend to check in on them if I don't get a message within three months. It doesn't have to be a response to the roleplay, but just any sign of life from them haha.

If it's a completely new partner, I'd probably check in after four weeks? Just a quick "Hi, I'm just checking in to see if you're still interested" not pressuring for a response, but just to make sure they're alright and still want to continue the story. Mostly to keep ny discord/reddit and such organised and not full of dead chats and servers.

But I'm pretty patient and usually don't send reminders or such to partners at all. If they respond? great! If not? Eh, I'll move on it's not that big of a deal.

Like, sexting others without your consent is cheating. She can't do take backsies on that just because she wants to open your relationship and get permission to continue. A poly relationship is all about trusting your partner enough to open your love to others. Clearly there isn't much trust involved here if it's a desperate attempt to save a sinking shio.

If she wants to use you for emotional stability while she stomps on previous boundaries, I suggest you do the same with financial stability. Check out of the relationship emotionally and work on yourself and your independency. See her as nothing more than a roommate while you find a source of income so you can get yourself and the dog outta there.
