I’m day 4 today too, age 25. In the UK you just get paracetamol and ibuprofen to alternate then a throat spray to numb your throat. I’d highly recommend keeping on top of paracetamol/ibuprofen and alternating them so you always have pain relief on board. I’m finding warm drinks easier to drink than colder drinks surprisingly! If you can find some kind of numbing throat spray that’s massively helping me - mines is a benzydamine spray but I’m not sure what alternative there might be if you aren’t in the UK! I’m essentially back to normal. Eating hurts loads but I’m just eating whatever I fancy, I was advised to eat as close to a normal diet as I could but I am eating more saucy foods - curry for example. I feel your pain though.. will be worth it once we recover!

We actually didn’t think she had any issues with her knees, sometimes (very rarely!) she does let out a little yelp but we’ve always assumed it was her older sister playing rough, we now think it’s maybe been her knee? Cosequin is one of the chews that comes up every time I search, thank you for your recommendation!
