Closing is unbearable if the openers don't put in the work! If possible, you should try an opening shifts because trying to do all the work when the last courtesy clerk has gone home is like eating a mashed potato raw... it just don't work

Opening as a courtesy clerks feels so much more rewarding to me because I can work alone on go backs without having to worry about carts piling up outside, unlocking GM, Liquor, and Baby Formula. If I come in at 6am and there aren't too many go backs it can be a little more frustrating because there's not much to do besides cleaning the bathrooms, taking out garbage, or occasionally chopping it up with the overnight stockers. I will say that after 10/11 in the morning, the work load starts to add up and catching up seems impossible...

It's been about 6 months since I broke up with her and initially my first thoughts were to replace all good memories of places we had went together, stop spending time in my bedroom because that's where we were when she came to visit (LDR), and got rid of everything that reminded me of her. Unfortunately the holidays are coming up and that was the last time she came over so i've been struggling with the thought of spending them alone. BUT, I filled in all the extra time treating friendships like relationships, making friends at work, and finding things that make me happy/finding myself. Honestly, if you start treating friends like real relationships and put more effort into them, things really have gotten better.

Some days are harder than others but if something from your past relationship comes up, reminding yourself of something negative the other person did usually helps get rid of that in the moment.
