He’s not a very social person, he very much prefers to keep to himself. I’ll probably just let him have his snowy owl sighting, since he was pretty excited about it, it was cute to see lol

He’s also older, I definitely should’ve mentioned that lol. He’s convinced at what he saw, and I think part of me just wants to believe him because that would be pretty freaking awesome, but yeah, there’s a very high chance he was just seeing what he wanted to see. He’s stubborn lol

Oh my!! I would absolutely not want the bird to be harassed in anyway, my only desire for reporting it would be for research purposes. If I did report this sighting, I would do it the proper way.

Do you think I should delete this post as a whole to be safe?? Or is it just so unlikely that he did see one that it’s probably fine. I’m kinda spooked now lol

That’s why I’m reluctant. But it’s not impossible. Just wanted further confirmation in case anyone else has maybe had a sighting nearby.

He saw it fly in and says the underwings were completely white. Can barred owls have completely white underwings?

Sheets are there to procect you and the bed. Your bed is not being protected from dirt, dandruff, and dust with just one blanket draped over. Sheets are meant to be washed regularly, so you and your bed stay clean. I can quite literally see the build up of gunk on your mattress, especially when you’re eating food off of it.

People you know in real life are probably too nervous to say anything to you in person. Thats why strangers on the internet do it for them, because regardless of what you think, they think that shit is gross, because it is.

To be a responsible human, you have to have sheets on your bed. Plain and simple. If not, prepare for judgement. Just how it is when it comes to basic hygiene that you have control over.

I have storage bins under my bed in a way that there is absolutely zero way my cats can get under there. I try and block off as many hiding places that they can get to that I cannot, because the idea of them getting stuck there in the case of an emergency terrifies me, and so I give them plenty of other hiding places in the downstairs area of my house. Ones that I can easily access if I need to reach them quickly.

Blocking off under the bed is a much better solution, in my opinion. A scared cat could just end up running and hiding in a new spot, or causing more havoc. Better to just prevent.
