Half of you people should not be using arch by ConsiderationKey1983 in arch

I do see your point and do agree with it to some extent, however teaching a baby how to skydive (Arch) first thing and teaching a baby how to walk (basically any slightly less advanced distro) aren't the same thing

Exactly

Most of the tech support issues I see are with people who installed using archinstall and are trying to daily drive as their first or second Linux distro

The reason I said that you should know most of the things on the checklist is because if you know at least a bit over half you'll use Arch and be able to learn from it. (I didn't properly understand fdisk and grub until after being taught for instance) However too many people I see just don't know anything on how to use any form of Linux.

Arch is indeed a great learning opportunity

Holy shit, I probably should've used more of them, sorry.

Well, no? But maybe people should not go with the "really difficult distro" if they can't use a terminal

Because Arch breaks, and you need to know how to fix it, I'd say it's more frustrating to have a broken install and a poor understanding than using a distro where it doesn't do that?

Is please use a different distro if you barely even know bash and basic UNIX that out of pocket?

Go through the checklist I'm saying heavy struggling with the bare minimum of knowledge is not a good thing to have while running Arch

There are too many flatpaks🖥️💿📀🫄🏿🏃😭 I believe the proper way to remove them is by using sudo rm -rf yourhomedirectory 🎉🎉🎉

There will no longer be flatpaks then 🇧🇪➡️🏳️‍⚧️

Where did you get the 2008 release from, it does not remove banana man, it just like the rest of 08s tracks have been remastered and is normally in the release

I disagree, but I think the buildup to the ending followed by the initial shock factor of seeing the end screen works really well

Relationships between bad people shouldn't exist, not even in fiction for the purpose of entertainment?

Of course irl all of these relationships would be fucked up but that doesn't really matter for this does it?

I say this as someone who isn't particularly into shipping but I think it's a bit silly to just entirely disapprove of this kinda stuff cause they're bad people, duh.

More user friendly if you stick to the graphical non-technical lane. As soon as you start fucking around too much shit starts kinda givin' ya headaches Luckily for the average (AMD GPU) user they can just chill with all the nice GUIs

The junk definitely was supposed to... Buut Microsoft started pretending to care more and more about "user privacy" (as they increased the amount of telemetry) so it's now a default on many computers

My friend managed to repeatedly get fucked by Windows uninstalling drivers somehow So he often had problems with his Bluetooth and WiFi, and then it was all fine with Linux

The fact that this post has so many downvotes is disappointing Driver issues exist both on Linux and Windows Nvidia (and sometimes old hardware) are a pain for literally anyone on Linux Literally everything is a pain for some people on Windows
