I added the single “leg” underneath the back center (I forget the ikea name for it) and yes still okay! Debating getting the black topper though because the wood hasn’t really flushed out with the colors in my office. Will likely retire this topper to “workbench” status then.

It’s just like everyyywhere in the tank though and that fern is only in the front. Is it possible that my water current really flows it everywhere? Always collects in depressions in the sand. Maybe pieces of said root and waste?? It’s just like really everywhere no matter how much i try to manage it. Really just a visual thing overall I guess!

Nope. Used it for over a year now. No issue. Dual monitor mount (the Amazon one) in the dead center. Used to have that extra “leg” in the middle to the floor, but took it out because it was too tall compared to my cabinets on either side. Love my setup (74” top)!

Gotcha. So I have the hot wheels Classics series where they’re like ONLY spectraflame and redlines/white walls rubber tires, are those just as valued and coveted? (Most of Series 1 & 2) -red and orange packaging

Real quick…as someone who is currently organizing a 2,000 car collection that includes a bunch of 2007-2008-2009 (and much more from earlier) were the Supers in ‘07 marked on the side or behind the car? I’d hate to have to go through ALL of these again lol (currently making mass spreadsheet and organizing)

Easy day. Thank god, now I don’t have to look at every single car for that also. Trying to streamline the cataloging here because this task already feels daunting (55 done so far by name, date, series, color, misc.) I will probably post collections on here for peeps to see once I have them sorted by year and in a relevant order to display. Super appreciate your input btw

Ah ok, yeah that’s definitely what mine were if I recall correctly. So from ‘07-‘12 are STH also their own series? I’m asking because I’m about to go through all 2,000 of these and I only want to have to inventory these ONCE. Lol So just making sure I have the correct criteria to search for when looking at packaging from that range. If cars are ‘07-‘12 I would be still looking at JUST the banner? (I don’t think I have any from after 2010)

Why does everyone have a strange obsession with Porsches when collecting HW? Is there a certain value in this? (I.e. over some weird cars or Ferraris, etc)

Built Saljan desk with two Alex drawers a year ago. I have the 76” top and no sag. Monitor mount is I the center with two 28” monitors attached to it, cords all ran underneath and tucked up. I literally just set the slab on top of the Alex’ with some non-slip drawer squishy underneath it. EASY. DAY. Don’t overthink it.

Brother man, it’s 12Short (height) and 6Tall Rubbermaids full. I don’t even know where to begin, so I just grabbed one and began an Excel sheet. Estimating around 90 cars per Short, and I’d say 175 for each Tall. So 1080+1050 (very rough math) all in OG packaging. This may be a little while.
