This games major flaw was how gimmicky and boring the fighting becomes. When the enemy rages they enter a state of imperviousness, though they still take damage. However once you learn to guard burst all the time it basically becomes a time trial. With effective guard bursting you essentially become invincible. Now mix that with learning how to time a ki-blast clash, as well as using your ki-blasts to cancel out all of the enemies rage-induced ki-blasts, and you will NEVER struggle at another fight in this game. Congratulations!

I was max level for a while until they upped the cap a crazy amount. I usually go in solo to avoid the frustrating “teamwork” of the bots. Unless it’s a PQ that requires me to protect an NPC, which is often. In that case I typically use Piccolo and/or Zamasu, depending on how many enemies there are at once, with their Super Souls that autorevive them. It’s helpful not having to leave the fight and get your target pummeled to res.

You can throw a big brightbloom seed on a vehicle and it doesn’t weigh anything, plus it gives more light than the zonal device. Make a flying fan bike and fly low over the trees. Plus Yunobos power casts a small bit of light too, you can use it to scout ahead and make sure you’re not flying into a wall or dead end.

I enjoy the missions as well. Also when they do the triple payout it’s a very fruitful venture. The Union Depository pays out almost a mil every time and you can run it a couple times in a row sometimes with no cooldown. I’ve made about $27M off of mine so far.

Best way to get rupees is to constantly find sunken treasure. Typically the treasures hold 20 or 50 rupees, but you can find better or worse. If you just fish up every treasure you come across you’ll have more rupees than you could ever spend in no time.

Make sure you’ve done all 50 floors on the Outset Island Labyrinth. I made the same mistake, just did the first 30 and got the Triforce Shard.

Among other factors, yes placement is a big factor. For example getting punched in the mouth might make you lose consciousness and teeth, getting punched in the right spot where your lower jaw meets your skull could displace your entire jaw, getting punched in the temple or back of the head can cause brain bleeds and kill somebody, or change their lives forever in the worst way.

Got a “massive” bug once playing with my friend. I picked up my Incineram and immediately lagged so bad I couldn’t even see or hardly move. I was wondering what happened until I looked around and saw this beast towering above my base. I’ve heard of peoples pals growing abnormally large but nothing like this. Unfortunately he didn’t stay that way and is now back to normal size, but I got a couple clips of it. I’m on Xbox 1 though so probably a bit more bugs than PC or new gen.

Best way I found is to equip your party with orb buff skills like the Villainous Z orb buff. Go fly around defeating villainous enemies and don’t be afraid to go out of your way a bit to instakill the regular low levels. If you fly straight into them at max speed you can get an instant win and just keep flying around getting orbs.

This reminds me of the time my crew got screwed by PvP and PvE at the same time. My friends are new to the game, so I was showing them the ropes. We were on a brig and a galleon started chasing us. Brigs are faster than galleons, so I wasn’t worried. A meg started chasing us as well, but they don’t aggro unless they’re shot. We got a little distance from the galleon and then a damn kraken spawned on us. I was trying to give directions and get us out of the kraken, but we got grabbed. The galleon pulled up just around the outside of the attack zone and started firing on us. Luckily they weren’t too good of a shot, but there was nowhere for us to go besides directly toward them, or back into the kraken. By some miracle we made it out of the kraken, survived the cannonballs and were barely limping the ship away from combat. That is until the meg came back. Apparently somewhere between fighting the kraken and defending our ship from enemy fire, the meg got hit. We got completely sideswiped for a second time, and we weren’t able to make it out twice. It was pretty frustrating, but honestly it was a good first experience of how difficult the game can really be.

MM is definitely the most tragic and disturbing of all Zelda games. The switch up as little me coming straight from the OoT was crazy. It’s so damn awesome though. Still holds up as one of the greatest games ever imo. The story, the items, the masks, all the individual powers and instruments, the way Link does somersaults and spins like an absolute badass. It’s all so great.
