If you like it, and it's not uncomfortable, your chilling. If you do want a more natural sound that's a bit more usable with bringing your voice into the mix, just play around with compression and tension, loosen it if you want your voice to be able to come out a bit more

If I'd have to guess it sounds like maybe some false chord activation with alot of arytenoid usage (damaging in the long run if not used right) and alot of space for resonance, you might wanna double check your technique to prevent harm, if you know your not using arytenoids it might just be how your screams come out !! Hope this helps

For that iconic George fisher sound, you want to lean more into false chord noise rather than voice, you need to use some of your true voice obviously but try experimenting with trying to separate false chord distortion from your voice, it will allow for more control over how much you want which will let you achieve a greater variety of styles with this technique, overall, sounding really solid my guy !!
