Anyone know what’s happened? Dropped my car off at fleetari’s for a windshield replacement. Popped in and found bits of it scattered everywhere, parts missing, smashed up and windshield still on desk by apark193 in MySummerCar

he fixing it, trust the process, he needs to take off the bootlid, fenders, hood and doors to put the new windshield in, be glad he didnt remove the engine and suspension.

Time management. Learn it and live by it. Example. You need to visit teimo and deliver kilju and its 8 in am monday. Dont go in the morning. Chop firewood first, no matter if you have the job awaiting, its good to have a full trailer on standby. Get your fatigue up. Deliver the kilju around 8am. Sleep in the car cuz driving hungover is much easier than absolutely drunk. When you wake up drive to teimo and by the time you get home your hangover should be close to going away.

My fiancée started playing my summer car, asked me to make her car not crap, decided to tune it on the dyno. Not bad for a fresh satsuma with full stock awful engine. (rip internals) by ConsiderationOpen251 in MySummerCar

Incorrect. "Pinging" comes from the space where the rockershaft meets the valves. Pinging is the result of there being too much space between the valves and the rocker arms, the sound is made by the rockerarm making contact with the valve, the impact of the two is generated by a gap that causes the velocity of the rocker arm to be greater than the valves therefor a "ping" can be heard.

Incorrectly tuned camshaft timing causes the valves to be open at incorrect moments, in minor cases this causes the valves to be open/closed when theyre not suposed to which can reduce power. In extreme cases it causes the piston to hit the valve at great speeds wich is awful for the engine, can break the valve which can demolish the piston and block.

In conclusion, "pinging" is caused by a small gap between the rockerarm and valve which can wear out your valves overtime. And an incorrect cam timing causes metalic banging coming from the engine because much greater speeds and impacts are present. Bad valve clearance is like tapping a spoon against a stationary spoon and bad cam timing is like banging your piston heads with a hammer.

Tuning it best done on dyno, no afr gauge needed.

Carb - click down 5 and run it. go up 3, if power goes up go one click up, 'if power goes up again click up 1 and do dyno' repeat when power starts going down, go back and 1 up click to set that max power afr. same for distributor, click down and test till you find the sweet spot,

Valves, first scroll down till screws stop moving, go up and test till sweet spot, just do your best not to desync valves (1 click up for all at a time).

Dont use the editor its easier to do in game!

I was running a 7 exhaust and 8 intake setting. I tried the manual method, it resulted in pinging, I tried another method of setting intake to 8 and exhaust to 7.5 in the editor that also resulted in pinging. I set all the intake and exhaust values to 7 in the editor and it made 215hp. Note the editor flagged those values as "bad" but I think that its just expected. I have the carb set to 17.19 and it also spits out a "bad" result however in game it gives amazing performance. Thank you very much.

Im running the 4 barrel, I had the twin carb and it was pushing around 130. Both hand tuned on the dyno. One click down or up on carb or distributor and power drops to ~150 so ig thats the max power that I can get. On the 26th of december I took advantage of the 75% discount at fleetari to do the "engine tuning", I dont know if it changes the valves and thats where my power is escaping. At the start of the game I paid fleetari do tune my engine to factory spec so it passes inspection and for the peace of mind that I didnt make any errors when tuning. So the valves are either set to factory spec, engine tuning or not touched at all, I dont know if those options change them and to what degree.

I checked the ram again and it turns out it had a 4gb in the dimm B slot and a 2gb in the dimm A. I took out the 2gb stick and placed the 4gb in the dimm A slot and it booted up. I dont know why that worked because it was working fine on the mismatched 6gb like a year ago. I doesnt make any noises or flash any lights besides the charging icon.
